Arthur’s first forays into acting began at High School, however it really came to the fore at Otago University where he acted in numerous productions as part of the Otago University Dramatic Society. After University acting went on hold until 2008 when he performed in ‘12 Angry Men’ at Howick Little Theatre. Since then he has been in a number of productions at HLT and most recently was in ‘Wife After Death’ at Dolphin Theatre.
Arthur appeared in his first production at Ellerslie two years ago, with ,em>Take a Chance On Me, also directed by Julian Harrison. Coming back to do The End of the Golden Weather has meant he can finally get back to a Kiwi accent after all the English ones he’s had to do in between. “It has been great to work with a terrific group of people to deliver this Kiwi classic.” |
