Although Steve has only been in New Zealand two years, he has been very active in Auckland's community theatre scene. His first two productions were with Ellerslie Theatre, with 'Five Women Wearing the Same Dress' and 'Albert Make Us Laugh', for which he was nominated for Best Actor as Albert in last year’s ACTT Awards.

Steve then went on to play Darcy in 'Pride and Prejudice' for Company Theatre and produced and directed his own writing in the Auckland Fringe Festival with 'The Wrong Side', which was a runner up in Playmarket's Plays for the Young Competition.

The short film he co-starred in made it to the grand finals in last year’s 48hour Film Festival, were he was again nominated for Best Actor. He recently played Pharaoh in 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' with Pilgrim Productions and has been nominated for Best Actor in a Minor Role in this year’s ACTT Awards. Squeezing in a commercial or two, it has certainly been a busy few years for him. Long may it continue.
