Theo is a 23-year-old baritone, currently singing at Holy Trinity Cathedral, Auckland. Originally from Essex, England, Theo studied music at the University of Chichester. He sings musical theatre as well as classical and has wide experience in musical roles on stage, including Escamillo in Carmen, Frederic in The Pirates of Penzance, and Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz. He is a former member of the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain.
Theo has recently gained experience as a Musical Director, attached to YOBOS (Youth of Banbury Operatic Society) in Oxfordshire. In August 2014, he led the music for the society’s acclaimed production of 13, a new musical by American composer Jason Robert Brown, winning a NODA award for inspiring young people in the pursuit of excellence in theatre. |
